Paige Spiranac, known for her compelling content in the golf world, showcased her remarkable foresight as she successfully pegged Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler as the victors of the year’s first two men’s majors.

For McIlroy, victory at Augusta National brought the wait for his fifth major title to a sensational end, as he finally donned the Green Jacket this April. The beloved golfer from Northern Ireland, affectionately dubbed Wee Mac, secured an iconic win, completing his career Grand Slam in his 17th masterful showing.
This month saw Scheffler shake off the memory of his prior-year run-in with the law at the PGA Championship to secure his third major title. Scheffler, a two-time Masters champion from 2022 and 2024, outplayed Bryson DeChambeau at Quail Hollow to stake his claim on the prestigious trophy.
Yet, these triumphs by McIlroy and Scheffler were anticipated by none other than the internet sensation Spiranac. The online icon confidently forecasted: “He’s going to get it done. Every year I say Rory’s gonna win the Masters, and this is the year!”.
Moreover, the admired TikTok and Instagram personality didn’t stop there. She also predicted Scheffler would dominate the remainder of the year’s majors. In disclosing her picks for the four grand championships of the season, she succinctly stated: “Rory, Scottie, Scottie, Scottie!”
Rory McIlroy’s triumph at Augusta was nothing short of magnetic, breaking the spell that seemed to hang over him at the hallowed greens. Reflecting on the monumental victory at the famed Georgia course, he shared: “It’s the best day of my golfing life and I’m very proud of myself, proud of never giving up. I’m proud of how I kept coming back and dusting myself off and not letting the disappointments get to me.
“It’s a dream come true. I have dreamt about this moment for as long as I can remember. This feels incredible. It’s my 17th time here, and I started to wonder if it would ever be my time.”
In a heartfelt remark, he continued: “At the presentation ceremony, I mentioned that watching Tiger Woods do what he did here in 1997, and winning his first green jacket, I think that inspired so many of my generation to want to emulate what he did.
“There were times in my career where I didn’t know if I would have this nice garment over my shoulders, but I didn’t make it easy in the final round.”
Meanwhile, at the PGA Championship, Scheffler voiced his satisfaction with sealing the win, offering keen insights into his play at Quail Hollow. With candor, he recounted: “This golf course will keep you on your toes. It was weird because at 7, 8, 9, I felt like I hit really good tee shots.
“And I looked up and it was 30 yards left where I was looking which was a bit unusual. Making the turn, I kind of squared my shoulders up and I hit a really good tee ball at 10, a really good tee ball at 11.
“After that, I did a really good job at executing on a lot of fairways, a lot of greens. Played a really good nine holes when I really needed too.”
